Our team · The nurses, the director, the caregivers

The nurses here have names.

Kate Skorseth, RN and Lenora Herman, RN are our Directors of Clinical Services. A full-time, resident-focused registered nurse supports each home, with 24-hour staffing behind her and an RN on call 24 hours a day.

The caregivers

Caregivers on every shift — here’s the filing.

Caregivers staff both homes day, evening, and night. You don’t have to take our word for it — the counts below come straight from our license disclosures (UDALSA, dated 06/01/2025), posted for anyone to read.

We could turn those into a tidy marketing ratio. We’d rather Cari walked you through what a real day looks like — 952-443-6113.

Through the end of life

We stay — through every stage, including the end, in the house they know.

Care continues “up to and including the point when the resident is dependent upon us for his or her total care,” and hospice care is provided when it is needed. Families come to us with Alzheimer’s, Lewy body, Parkinson’s, and frontotemporal dementia.

No restraints. “We do not believe in using restraints at Gianna Homes.” No chemical shortcuts. Medications are not used “to ‘control’ behaviors.” Nothing on autopilot. A care conference at least every six months.

From a family
“Thank you for being a part of Dad’s last days. It meant so much to me that Dad was able to be in a loving home setting when he passed. You are truly a special place. Dad’s wish was to die at home. Thank you for being a “home” for Dad”
