Gianna Homes is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Resident Assistant (RA) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for our middle-aged client with quadriplegia.
Our client is someone who leads an active and involved life. He enjoys connecting with people, has a great sense of humor, loves cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and values the close relationships in his life. We’re looking for a caregiver who can support him in his day-to-day life while bringing reliability and good companionship to each shift.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personalized 1:1 care, including range of motion and companionship
- Assist in performing activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, showering, and toileting (catheter & ostomy care) when necessary
- Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse, including med passing
- Transport to appointments, errands, or activities as needed in client-provided van
What We’re Looking For
- CNA certification or Resident Assistant caregiver
- A compassionate, dependable person who enjoys developing a genuine 1:1 relationship with a client
- Comfortable assisting with personal cares
- Able to follow an RN-directed plan of care
- Valid driver’s license and must be 20+ years old to drive the client’s vehicle
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20–$23 per hour

Standard Shifts:
- Day Shift: 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Evening Shift: 2:30–8:30 p.m.
- 12-Hour Shift: 8:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m.

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA to join our memory care team! In this role, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents with memory challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This is a meaningful position where every day you help residents live with dignity, joy, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional health to the nursing team
- Administer medications under supervision
- Prepare and serve meals as scheduled
- Support residents with memory care needs in a patient, compassionate, and respectful manner
- Encourage social interaction, participation in activities, and engagement in daily routines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- Current CNA certification in the state of Minnesota
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude

- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and ADLs
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Preferred:
- Experience in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care
- CPR/First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide one-on-one care in a client’s home or place of residence
- Provide care and assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to:
- Bathing, Grooming, Dressing
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Assistance with mobility/transfers
- Meal and Snack preparation and feeding
- Medication assistance
- Monitor and record client’s physical condition, behavioral changes, and medication use
- Report changes in the client’s condition to the RN
- Perform light household chores such as laundry and housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the client
- Respect the client’s rights and maintain confidentiality
- Provide transportation to assist with client errands, grocery shopping, and as requested/needed
- Other duties as needed and assigned
- Retain correct and accurate documentation of services provided
- Responsibilities vary based on company and client needs.
Requirements and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- CNA certification (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience working with older adults
- 1+ year caregiving experience
- Successful completion of a criminal background study
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable vehicle for transportation and valid auto insurance
