Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Job Summary
The On-Call Float CNA provides compassionate, resident-centered care to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions in an assisted living setting. This role supports staffing needs across multiple homes and shifts while promoting residents’ safety, dignity, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility support.
- Respond to urgent staffing needs and provide coverage for AM, PM, and overnight shifts as needed.
- Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions and report changes to nursing staff.
- Support residents with dementia using patience, redirection, validation, and person-centered care techniques.
- Assist with medication administration and delegated treatments under nurse supervision.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident needs.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide attentive, hands-on care in a private home like assisted living
