Those dealing with various forms of memory loss can often experience feelings of despair, confusion, loss and pain. Whether you’re a family member or a guest in one of our homes you will feel at ease from the moment you walk through our doors. We have a system of care that stems from our shared values of living a fulfilling life no matter what the circumstance, kindness, and respect. We believe that this belief system makes all the difference.
Life Engagement
We offer a variety of life engagement opportunities that address and validate the social, sensory, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of our residents. Programming is structured around the residents’ interests and abilities so that the residents can truly participate and enjoy the day. We have regularly scheduled meaningful engagement opportunities with skilled professionals included in daily activities and happenings. Things like music and massage therapy are just two examples of specific life engagement opportunities we provide at Gianna Homes.
Family and Relationships
We understand the social isolation that comes with staying in your own home and we strive to meet many of the needs of those individuals. We do this is a way that not only meets physical needs, but also social needs. We believe in attention to detail and relationship building. We want everyone to feel like they’re family as soon as they walk through our doors.
The Design of Our Homes
Our homes have been designed with our residents in mind. From the calming colors and décor used to promote independence and comfort to the gardens and green space that has been proven to be therapeutic, you will feel at ease inside our houses. Our residential care homes are much more than buildings, we are a home. We offer private and semi-private rooms and care for individuals in all stages of memory loss/dementia through end of life.
We believe that our homes provide a familiar and secure environment where individuals challenged with memory loss can live and thrive comfortably. We invite you to take a closer look at our homes when considering the best place to have a loved one stay who’s challenged with memory loss.
