Our 2016 Gala Fundraiser was spectacular! There was amazing food, wonderful prizes, intriguing speakers and amusing guests. We managed to raise just over $114,000 for the Steve and Mary Mattson Fund which directly supports keeping our residents in their ‘homes’.
We had Minnesota’s own retired hockey player, Jordan Leopold, who has a history with the Gophers and the Minnesota Wild as our evening’s keynote. Having suffered more than eight concussions throughout his career, he knows firsthand the Risks of the Games he loves and the long-term impact on his brain. This year’s gala will be exploring concussions, dementia, and long-term care. He has partnered with the Brain Alliance of Minnesota to bring awareness to the impact of concussions on individuals and their families.
We thank all attendees and sponsors for your support.
