There are those who live on this earth in such a way that they make the world a better place for others.
Born in Milan, Italy, Gianna Beretta Molla chose pediatric medicine for her profession. While many in her field were motivated in their career by money, she instead served those in need at no charge.
In her work Dr. Gianna lifted the spirit of her patients with her selfless, compassionate care. Her love for children was evident in her devotion to her family-ultimately expressed in her decision to sacrifice her own life to save the life of her unborn daughter.
Dr. Gianna was a woman of uncompromising love who demonstrated complete commitment to those in her care, and who gave unparalleled devotion to her faith, her family, and her profession.
With the blessing of her family, it is in her spirit each day that we open our doors at Gianna Homes.
